During 2008 we plan to hold a number of events to raise the profile of the Trust for Africa's Orphans and to raise funds. Whilst we rely on our funding partners to approve new projects, as a small charity it is essential that we maintain a level of unrestricted funds in our account to ensure the charity can operate effectively. We therefore hope to add from time-to-time to this section of the website details of new promotion and fund-raising events where you will be able to find us.
We would like to say a very big thank you to everyone who has supported our work and especially to those who make regular donations or arrange standing orders. Those of our Trustees who visit Africa to check on the projects regularly report back on the amazing progress that we are able to make in helping those orphans and their carers whose standard of living is far lower than our own.
